Mafube / the evidence behind the conversation
Explore Mafube’s people, services, economy and candidate pathways in the Fezile Dabi district context. Figures retain their reporting years and source notes.
01 / About the summit
Mafube brings businesses, project owners, funders and public institutions into the same room. The aim is to make opportunities clearer, resolve obstacles to investment and agree on practical next steps.
Municipal competence is part of the economic infrastructure: dependable services, maintenance, billing, land administration and approvals affect the cost and risk of investing. The programme works on these basics alongside business retention, expansion, project development and finance across Mafube's four towns.

The summit is intended to produce clearer proposals, relevant introductions and follow-up actions with named responsibilities and dates. Progress can then be measured against work delivered, not promises made on stage.
Council, budget, procurement, land, regulatory and funding decisions still follow their established processes. Commitments at the summit cannot replace them.
